Tim Ellis

Mr. Ellis brings over 40 years of diversified business experience to Ventura Group. His experience spans the consumer manufacturing, industrial manufacturing as well as the project driven energy industries. He held positions of increasing responsibility while at Proctor & Gamble. There he participated in the acquisitions of Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals and GD Searle’s consumer products division; as well, he participated in P&G’s billion-dollar merger with Richardson-Vicks.

His experience also includes international assignments in wholly foreign owned entities of both Asian and European parent companies. Prior to Ventura Group, Mr. Ellis had senior, global roles in Westinghouse Electric Company strategy, corporate development and project management functions.

Tim is experienced in strategic plan development and assessments. He has led organizational diagnoses and assessments leading to improved operational results as both a stakeholder and internal consultant.

While located in the Columbus, Ohio, area, he was a frequent guest lecturer at The Ohio State University School of business for both undergraduate and graduate degree courses.

Education

Tim graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University with a focus in production, transportation and operations functions. Tim also completed executive education courses at the University of Michigan School of Business and Cambridge College, Boston.
